Just click any of the links below to see the show: Just a word of warning about the last set of photos. We visited a few famous Cemeteries and also the Catacomb. The cemeteries were really fascinating but the Catacomb was one of the most profound experiences of our lives. The French government transported over 7 million bodies from the unsanitary city cemetery in Les Halles in Paris between 1785 to 1786, to this abandon mine shaft because of overcrowding, decease and the overwhelming stench.
